Registration

SimAUD2017 Conference registration: To attend or present at the annual Symposium on Simulation for Architecture and Urban Design, registration is needed.

Registering for the SimAUD2017 conference also allows free attendance of one of the workshops taking place on Sunday, May 21, 2017 (click here to see the workshops). If you want to attend a workshop, you must register for the workshop too. To register for a workshop, you need to select the desired workshop session when registering for the conference.

Among the options to register for SimAUD2017, there are reduced rates for students. Students in their Bachelor and Master Studies are eligible for this rate (the discount cannot be offered to PhD students.) In order to benefit from the discount, a student form (Student Verification & Payment Form) needs to be submitted to receive the discount code. The form can be downloaded here. Once the form is filled in, you need to send the form to: scs@scs.org. A discount code will then be provided to you. Be informed that students rates do not include the conference dinner.

Note that: Early registration ends on Mar 26, 2017. Regular registration starts on Mar 27, 2016 and ends on May 07, 2017. Late registration starts on May 08, 2017.

Pre-conference Workshops registration: Several pre-conference workshops are proposed in parallel sessions during the afternoon of Sunday 21st May 2017 (click here to see the workshops). To attend one of the workshops, registration is needed. The workshop registration is free for participants already registered for SimAUD 2017 (conference registration). A fee applies to participants who are not registered for the conference (full fee: $70, students fee: $30). The workshop registration does not include a meal. No refund is possible in case of attendance’s cancellation after May 1st.

Please note it is not possible for one participant to attend more than one workshop (as the workshops occur in parallel sessions). Each workshop runs for about 4 hours and can host a maximum of about 15 participants. If the subscriptions exceed the limit, the 15 participants who registered first have priority. Each workshop requires min 5 participants to take place. If a workshop is cancelled due to non-sufficient subscriptions, the participants can join one of the other workshops.
